The chief editor of a Dubai-based daily newspaper praised the personality of Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in an opinion piece on Sunday.
Sami al-Rayani, the chief editor of "Emarat Al-Youm", who had met Sisi as part of a UAE press delegation, described the Egyptian president as an "honest man with great ambition, hope and specific goals."
"Sisi is aware of the internal and external challenges and difficulties around him and knows how to deal with them," the chief editor wrote.
During the meeting in Cairo, Sisi had warned that the region is encountering a real danger that can be easily noticed when looking at the Arab world map from Yemen to Iraq, Syria and Libya and "we cannot face it alone," Rayani wrote.
