Egyptian TV presenter Sali Shahin has told Arabstoday she is preparing for a new show on the al-Hayah channel called "Leabet al-Gamal" (The Beauty Game). The productions is a game show that is based on a competition between 10 beauty experts, 10 hair dressers and 10 models that will be a surprise for Sali's fans, said the star. Whether the show's idea was inspired by Sali's former "Miss Egypt" title, Sali said: "Perhaps, but anyway these kinds of shows have massive popularity and possess great chances of success." AT: What is the reason behind your insistence to continue working with al-Hayah? SS: When I joined, I got the feeling that Mohammed Abdelaal (the channel's general manager) will bring the best out of me, and that is what attaches me to this place...I'm enabled to do my best work here. AT: Is "Ard al-Khouf" (Land of Fear) going to have a new season? SS: I suppose, yes. This show has achieved great success, but a new season requires much preparation in order to be produced well, as the show is full of technical tricks. AT: Your manner in this show is quite different... SS: Actually I feel this show is the closest to my personality, as I don't fear the games and risks that were included in it. I don't know who suggested that present the show, but I guess that Mohammed Abdelaal decided I was right for it because he saw something in me. AT: Have you considered acting? SS: No, I see myself more as a TV presenter, and I want to be totally dedicated to my work. AT: What about love in Sali Shahin's life? SS: Love is suspended until I meet someone who I feel is right for me.
