Tunisian National TV Channel 2 was awarded the Best Television Production Prize at the 13th Video Clip Oscars, organised in Cairo, September 13-16. The clip "Sarkhat Omma," which was directed by Khalfallah Khalsi and performed by singer Sofia Sadek, was produced by the National TV Channel 2, last July. Thirty-three songs from 15 Arab countries, namely Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Palestine, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman, Algeria, Jordan, Bahrain, Sudan and Egypt in addition to six other countries, took part in the contest.
