The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has established additional social media network twitter accounts amounting to 22 active accounts. The main objective of this initiative is to streamline communication between the diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad and citizens. The main dropdown list of the Ministry’s website includes "Bahrain's Missions Abroad" for easy access. Bahrain Diplomatic mission’s account aims to explain the consular services available for Bahrainis abroad, particularly at circumstances of crises and emergencies that occur at the host country. It also seeks to provide information on bilateral relations and to promote Bahrain economic and tourism activities, as well as investment opportunities. It worth noting that The Ministry’s account on twitter (@bahdiplomatic) attracts more than 19 followers. The Ministry replies via this account to all inquiries relating to the ministry’s duties and responsibilities, news, statements issued by the ministry, the activities of diplomatic missions, and other electronic content that released on the Foreign Ministry’s accounts on other social networks media such as YouTube, instgram, Filcher, and notices and remarks posted on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
