Bob Ross' first 'Joy of Painting' show is now on YouTube

Bob Ross' official YouTube channel has posted the first episode of the artist's iconic instructional series The Joy of Painting.
The show ran on PBS 1983-94.
"For the next 13 weeks, I'll be your host as we experience the joy of painting," Ross noted in his signature soothing and encouraging voice. "Let's do it. Let's paint a picture. Right here."
The video clip has gotten nearly 500,000 views since it was posted Thursday.
Ross died in 1995 after a battle with lymphoma. He wa 52
