Egyptian FM launches English blog on internet

The Foreign Ministry launched on Sunday an English blog on the internet in order to be a new platform for Egypt before the Western public opinion.
The blog aims to shed light on the conditions in Egypt and explain approaches of the Egyptian foreign policy.
The move comes as part of an integrated strategy to promote and diversify ways of interacting with foreign countries, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
The blog is considered a new platform for Egyptian officials, researches and academics to publish English articles regarding Egypt's foreign policy along with the latest political, economic and social developments in Egypt, added the spokesman.
