The website of the Egyptian Darul Iftaa (House of religious opinion) has obtained an accreditation from the Facebook administration in the US as the first Islamic foundation website in Egypt and the world after its visitors hit one million in number, said Ibrahim Negm, an adviser to the Mufti of Egypt on Saturday.
He added in a released statement that Darul Iftaa has followed up over the past few years the achievements realized by online mechanisms of social interaction which removed all barriers among the four corners of the globe.
The move on part of Darul Iftaa was meant to cope up with the modern telecommunications revolution, he added.
