An official source at the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) said there were currently no companies broadcasting satellite channels from Bahrain.
The IAA in a statement denied allegations published by some newspapers that a defamatory satellite channel has resumed broadcasting under a new name from Bahrain and through a company specialised in re-broadcasting from the kingdom.
The IAA urged the press to check the accuracy of its reports in line with professional standards and to avoid the publication of erroneous news.
