Two teenage boys were shot and wounded Friday outside the campus of Los Angeles High School, police said. One of the victims was shot in the back and the other was shot in the leg, and both were taken to a hospital, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported. One of the victims is a 17-year-old student at Los Angeles High School and the other was described only as 18 years old. After the shooting was reported about 3:30 p.m. PST, police established a perimeter around the scene as part of a search for suspects. Initially, police were looking for two suspects, but later said they believe there was one assailant, the report said.
