Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi took part in the Education World Forum (Global Summit for Education Ministers, 2013), held in London from January 28 to 30 under the theme of "Policy-Making for Quantity, Quality and Impact". The Forum, in which education ministers and officials from over 70 countries and international experts participated, discussed a number of issues, including motivation, education quality and the impacts of educational policies in the 21st century. The challenges facing some countries in ensuring education for all, ways of achieving quality education, use of technology, bridging the gap between mathematics, sciences, engineering and technology, 21st century skills, professional development programmes and success stories were highlighted. The biggest exhibition on use of technology in education was also held on the sidelines of the Forum.
