Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi attended today at Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology hall the graduation of the first batch of a specialized session on teaching human rights at schools. He praised the efforts made to organize the session as part of a line-up of programmes held by the Education Ministry in cooperation with experts and specialists in this regard. He underscored the ministry's commitment to promoting the culture of human rights and peaceful coexistence among students, in line with the international covenant on human rights. Dr. Al Nuaimi pointed out the ministry's efforts to upgrade school curricula and promote the principles of citizenship and human rights in cooperation with experts from the UNESCO and other specialized bodies.
