Minister of State for Information Affairs Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab today received Bahrain University Students' Affairs Dean Dr. Adnan Al-Tamimi, UoB Students' Council chairman Abdulrahim Mahmoud Abdulrahim and representatives of UoB colleges. The minister commended the University of Bahrain for its string of achievements and successes, stressing its dedication to develop the academic programmes, optimise learning standards and develop Bahraini competences in all specialities in order to contribute to the march of national development. She also stressed the importance of promoting cooperation between the Information Affairs Authority and the University of Bahrain and exchanging scientific and practical expertise with the aim of enriching the media sector with competent cadres.
