The Embassy of China to Cambodia on Thursday provided 5 sets of laptops and 1 medium-scale LCD TV to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to help relieve and facilitate work burden at the ministry. The hand-over ceremony was made between the Ambassador of China to Cambodia Pan Guangxue and the Minister of Education Im Sithy. Pan Guangxue said the bilateral relations between China and Cambodia on education, youth and sports are good so far; however, it still needs to strengthen and expand to be stronger, especially the relations between the two nations' youths. Im Sithy said that currently, English and French have been included in the public school curriculum and the ministry has also been considering adding Chinese language in the curriculum as the language has been gone internationally nowadays. The minister, at the meantime, asked China to consider helping build Cambodia's higher education sector in terms of quality, development and technology.
