Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping on Friday attended the graduation ceremony held by the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee. Xi, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee as well as the president of the CPC's top Party School, awarded graduation certificates to the 524 officials who completed the school's fall semester. More than 2,900 officials attending the central government organs' and military branches of the top Party School also graduated, saying their capacity in dealing with pragmatic problems, research and leadership have been improved through the training. Li Jingtian, the school's executive vice president, called on the graduates to continue their studies and implement the principles and policies outlined at the central economic conference in December.
