Dr. Hamda Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Director of the Evaluation Institute at Supreme Education Council has strongly denied rumors about the existence of errors in the calculation of the secondary school examinations or in the correcting of the examinations and their re-correcting, or even the occurrence of dissatisfaction amid the parents due the circulated incorrect information. In an exclusive interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of the start of tests of the second round of the secondary certificate and the comprehensive educational assessment of the three stages tomorrow, Dr. Al-Suleiti said the major part of the problem is limited to the correcting of some students' names , explaining that schools asked parents to make sure that the names of their sons are correctly written before the start of the examinations, but they move to do so only after the appearance of the results, therefore it was incumbent on the Evaluation Institute to urge each parent to correct the error in the name of his son so that the certificate will not be issued without the correct name. She noted anew that the most common modification said to be relating to to degrees and re-correcting of the examinations papers are the only adjustments to correct the names of some of the students whose parents applied for such adjustment. Dr. Al-Suleiti said that the schools, since the beginning of the year sent the names to the parents to make sure it is correct and to modify any mistakes early, but some parents make the necessary correction only after the appearance of results and that compels us to direct parents to address the Ministry of the Interior to amend the name on its system containing the names.
