Dubai Cares will organise a rally for Education 2012 along Jumeirah Street on February 17 in support of poor children who face obstacles in their quest for education. The rally aims to highlight the importance of primary education in breaking the cycle of poverty and enhancing awareness about challenges that deprive children from developing countries of sound primary education. Tariq Al Gurg, CEO of Dubai Cares, said the organisation invites everyone to participate in the march in support of millions of children who face considerable obstacles in their quest for education and those who are unable to attend school. The move comes out of the organisation's belief that education is the best long-term solution to eliminate poverty, as well as its commitment to improving children's access to quality primary education in developing countries.
