He added that the Ministry is committed to serving the teaching profession in the kingdom, upgrading the teachers’ status and motivating them out of its belief in their vital role in teaching, preparing promising generations and building the nation, explaining that the teachers’ pay scale, the Improvement of Schools’ Performance Programme and the Improvement of School Time Programme ensure them promotions and provide them with good opportunities to develop themselves and improve their performance. Dr. Al-Nuaimi expressed pride in teachers’ keenness on assuming their duties in the best way, paying special tribute to those who have dedicated themselves to ensuring quality learning and set themselves as role models in assuming their noble educational mission. He emphasised that improving the teachers’ status and upgrading the services provided for them enjoy top priority in the Ministry of Education’s daily work, adding that the National Project to Develop Education and Training enjoys similar care, given its importance in improving the quality of education so as to meet the international standards in this regard. He noted that all words of praise and gratitude would not be sufficient to pay enough tribute to teachers because thanks to their efforts, the nation progresses, under its wise leadership, pledging the Ministry of Education’s unwavering resolve to ensure quality education for all so as to achieve the national goals of development and prosperity.
