The Central Committee to Following up the School Achievement at the Education Ministry yesterday held a meeting for the educationalists of the Directorate-General of Education at the Al Batinah North Governorate under the chairmanship of Saud bin Salim al Bulushi, Under-Secretary of the Education Ministry for Educational Planning and Human Resources Development, Head of the Committee. Al Bulushi highlighted the efforts being exerted by the school achievement committees at the directorate and the schools in promoting these achievements, particularly after the announcement of the results of the first school semester 2011/2012. He said the meeting aims at availing the frank and objective dialogue between the educationalists to identify the real challenges facing students. Dr Salim bin Khalfan al Khaiefi, Educational Expert at the Directorate General of the Educational Evaluation, presented a working paper during which he discussed the joint action plan to upgrade the School achievements. Al Mejaini noted that they have provided 44 computers for Internet and data base services as well as iPod and Wi Fi technologies. There will be a special section for children where they can access useful educational and entertainment sites.
