Egypt's Minister of Higher Education Wael el-Degwi metWednesday with a delegation of the Egypt-Japan University of Science andTechnology (E-JUST).The meeting took up aspects of cooperation between Egypt and Japan, the existingprojects in the fields of education and research, and the latest achievements of the(E-JUST) and the steps needed to complete its construction.The minister hailed the Egyptian-Japanese relations as profound and significant inall fields, voicing Egypt's desire to expand mutual cooperation in the long term bysupporting scientific and cultural ties.Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is a research universityset up in collaboration between the Japanese and Egyptian governments in 2010. Itis located in Alexandria.
