Georgia police arrested a 17-year-old high school student for allegedly threatening on Facebook to shoot fellow students at school. Dustin Wade England, a freshman at Hiram High School, was charged with making terrorist threats, a felony, Paulding sheriff's Cpl. Ashley Henson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. England was being held without bond at the Paulding County Detention Center, the newspaper reported Wednesday. "A local parent was alerted by their child that a Hiram High School student was threatening to shoot multiple students at school the following day," Henson said. The parent became aware of the alleged threats Tuesday night. "Detectives were quickly able to determine who the individual was and made contact with him," she added. "After a brief interview, detectives were able to obtain an admission from the individual involved." "In light of recent school shootings and other types of violence on school campuses worldwide, we take all threats seriously," Paulding Sheriff Gary Gulledge told the Journal-Constitution.
