Higher Education Minister Mostafa Mossad asserted the importance of fostering cooperation with Kenya in all fields especially in the fields of education and science. This came during Mossad's meeting with Kenya's Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology Margaret Kamar and her accompanying delegation that includes a number of Kenyan universities' presidents and senior officials. The meeting tackled means of boosting mutual relations via exchanging professors and students and activating cooperation agreements between the Kenyan Moi University and a number of Egyptian universities. Mossad expressed Egypt's readiness to offer support to Kenya in light of its keenness to boost relations with all African countries. Kamar asserted Kenya's desire to benefit from Egypt's experience and capabilities pertaining to petroleum researches and training centres.
