Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, Vice President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) for Research Institutes has said that among the most prominent achievements of the Program of Common Excellence Centers and the Program of Technological Innovation Centers launched by the City in partnership with a number of Saudi universities and international research centers are the establishment of 16 joint centers of excellence and five centers of technological innovation. This came during the Prince's participation in the "Conference on electronic materials, devices and systems to ensure a sustainable future'' organized by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and U.S. National Science Foundation at the headquarters of the university in Thule recently.
