The Kuwaiti expedition, "be among the excellent," arrived in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo, as part of a multi-station program designed to educate the youth about diverse cultures of nations. Ahmad Al-Sarraf, a press official of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, organizer of the activity, said in remarks to KUNA upon the group arrival in Colombo that Sir Lanka was chosen as one of the destinations for the exploratory activity due to the nation solid ties with Kuwait. KFAED has contributed to a number of key projects in Sri Lanka, he said, indicating that the Kuwaiti students would be acquainted during the visit with the country's cultural landmarks and the Kuwaiti fund aid activities here. The fund organizes annual exploratory and educational trips for the Kuwaiti students. Simultaneously with the expedition in Sri Lanka, top-grade Kuwaiti female students are visiting Uzbekistan.
