The three-day 19th meeting for GCC officials in charge of technical education and vocational training will be held here Monday .. Kuwait Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) Director-General Abdul Razzaq al-Nafisi indicated in a statement Sunday that the agenda's most prominent topic is PAAET's proposal on the establishment of a Gulf Union of education and technical and vocational training, indicating that this meeting will present benefits for GCC citizens through the exchange of experiences of education, technical and vocational training in the GCC countries. The meeting agenda will take into account the decisions of the Supreme Council on equality between the citizens of GCC countries in the fields of technical education and vocational training, he said adding that it will focus on guidelines outlining the framework of small businesses and business incubators, twinning between schools and vocational training centers in the GCC States, as well as professional contests. Al-Nafisi underlined the inclusion of internal and external civilian visits and the professional direction in the proposal, expressing hope that the PAAET would make the meeting a success.
