Under the sponsorship and attendance of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah a ceremony was held at the Bayan Palace theater to confer creative and high achieving Kuwaiti students of different educational stages with "the Amir's Creativity and Achievement Award". The ceremony was also attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Amir Diwan Minister Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and top state officials. The ceremony commenced with the playing of the national anthem and recitation of the Holy Quran verses. After that, HH the Amir delivered a speech to congratulate the students on their achievements. "I am glad to meet my sons and daughters from different educational stages at their honoring ceremony. I want to congratulate you on your high achievements which were the result of relentless efforts and eagerness to excel in your academic life," HH the Amir said. HH the Amir urged the students to forge ahead with their outstanding performance to better serve their dear homeland. "I urge you to focus on the noble goal of acquiring knowledge and high levels of education to serve your nation." HH the Amir told the students that Kuwaiti people is pining high hopes on their excellence for the future progress and advancement of their country. HH the Amir expressed appreciation to the important role and great contributions of the teachers and schools administrations in the high achievements of the students. For his part, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf expressed gratitude for HH the Amir's sponsorship and attendance of the students honoring ceremony. "This ceremony shows the high priority given by Your Highness to education and the great support to students," Minister Al-Hajraf said. Then, a number of the award-wining students delivered speeches on the occasion. The students cheered HH the Amir attendance of their honoring ceremony and thanked him for his unlimited support for Kuwaiti students at different stages. The students also vowed to continue their outstanding performance in their academic life and to pay back the state's great support to them. Following the speeches, Deputy Amir Diwan Minister Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah handed the awards to the excelled students.
