Kuwait City - Arabstoday
A large proportion of Kuwaiti citizens are dissatisfied with the education provided at the Gulf state’s public schools, according to new research figures quoted by local media. Some 83 percent of people who took part in a schools survey said there was a lack of strategic planning in public education, while 85 percent thought not enough effort was made to ensure school facilities met quality and safety standards. Just 19.7 percent thought administrators at public schools possessed leadership qualities. The results of the research were reported by Al-Qabas daily newspaper. The research took data from 548,723 Kuwaiti citizens including students, teachers, headmasters and parents, and was carried out by a team of government employees assigned to help improve educational standards in the country.
