Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite paid Sunday a visit to Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF). At her reception was Director of Communication Department Haya Al Nassr. Grybauskaite was briefed about QF's mission and goals, in addition to its developmental and scientific research projects. Afterwards, the Lithuanian President signed QF's guestbook. Haya Al Nasser, on behalf of QF employees, then gave Grybauskaite manuscripts of Al Quran as a gift. Grybauskaite said QF has far bigger goals than she first anticipated, adding that the goals of the educational institution were closely connected to Qatar's National Vision 2030. She also praised the vision of HH the Emir for establishing Qatar Foundation, and also for taking a keen interest in human development. The Lithuanian President said the latter will be a primary factor in the prosperity of Qatar in the future. She expressed pleasure that Qatar was not only focusing on LNG investment, adding that real development was in developing people to unleash their capacities.
