Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education and her delegation concluded the official visit to Korea during which a memorandum of understanding in the fields of education was signed between the two countries. She also held an official session of talks between the two ministries during which they touched on the educational matters and means of promoting the relations between the two countries in this field. She visited the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) which concerns with the education development programmes, such as the curricula. The Education Minister also visited Seoul Training Institute which is an academic centre that evaluates the performance of teachers and sets up the professional development programme for them, as well as implementing the training programmes for headmasters. She also visited specialised institutions and schools during which she viewed the activities presented by the students and teachers for the society.
