More than 8 million pupils will join on Sunday school classes for the new school year 2013-2014. As from Sunday, 8,470,007 pupils will return to classes across the country, against 8,292,011 last year, representing 321,978 new pupils (+3.95%). This number includes 170,758 pupils for the primary school, 41,754 for the college and 106,905 ones for the secondary school. The Preschool education records, for this year, a slight increase by 50,020 classes against 45,685 last year, representing 424,794 new pupils. The education sector is equipped with 25,640 new schools, in provision of this school year, including 254 primary schools, 99 colleges and 109 secondary schools.
