Pakistan International School, Jeddah (English section) marked the 135th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan. PISJ-ES Principal Sehar Kamran while paying glowing tributes to the “great leader,” said, “If you want to accomplish your goals make Quaid-e-Azam your role model, follow his principles of unity, faith and discipline, to make yourself successful and a better human being.” Meanwhile, the campaign for the Student Council election at the PISJ-ES, kicked off with open house charter on Saturday. After the voting the executive body will be elected on Dec. 31. Eligible candidates presented their charters and highlighted the main features of their manifestos. Kamran, while enlightening the students about the aims and objectives of the Student Council said, “Introduction of the Student Council at the PISJ-ES is part of our student leadership development program. It is the process of involving students in meaningful ways both inside and outside the classroom, with an objective to provide them with a platform where they can exercise and exhibit their qualities and demonstrate their talents, skills and interest in an organized manner.”
