President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Sunday stressed the importance of teachers' role in educating generations. "Education is the base of the reviviscence, progress and prosperity of any nation," Hadi said in his speech delivered on his behalf by Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi in the annual celebration organized by the education ministry to mark the Teacher Day. The President congratulated all teachers, lauding their giving and sacrifices for building the future of the new Yemen. He called on the teachers to discard the partisan, sectarian and regional constancies and underpin loyalty to the nation only in a way that "meets the demands of the Yemeni youths, whose wills and sacrifices placed Yemen at the threshold of a new era." He accented the political leadership's adherence to improve the educational process in the country, saying that is why education taken a high priority among the issues being discussed in the national dialogue. The only goal of the national dialogue is definitely the Yemeni human and how to improve their culture, development and productivity, Hadi said. The President ended his speech by urging to give the human resources development a high priority in the current milestone stage of the Yemeni people's history.
