Prince Muhammad bin Salman, chairman of the board of directors of the Al-Riyadh Schools, announced the launching of a new developmental project for the schools. The projects involve a review of the schools’ performance over the past few years in order to determine the current status and to prepare an integrated strategic plan to cater to the needs of all parties related to the educational process in the schools, the Saudi Press Agency reported quoting a statement of Prince Muhammad. “The move comes in line with the desire of Defense Minister Prince Salman, honorary president of Riyadh Schools, and aims to spread a spirit of increased activities and revival in the established school to raise the level of education further,” said the prince. “The school distinguishes in its special visions to prepare leadership qualities and has been a model to many generations of the sons of the nation,” he said. He added that the time has come to shape it to keep pace with the developments in methods of modern education in order to shape future cadres besides bringing it in line with the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to adopt the best means of education for the development of education in the Kingdom. The Riyadh Schools will seek the help of a highly experienced global team in educational development including former education ministers in the United Kingdom and the United States in addition to experts in the change administration from around the world, the prince said.
