Social Affairs, Damascus Governorate distribute school bags
Damascus - SANA
The Ministry of Social Affairs and the Damascus Governorate on Wednesday distributed 3,610 school bags among students in various schools in Damascus. Social Affairs Minister Kinda al-Shammat told journalists that the government is committed to providing educations services, and that this initiative seeks to encourage children from affected families to continue their studies, in addition to reduce the burdens of their parents. In turn, Damascus Governor Bishr al-Sabban stressed the need for all sides in the government and society to combine their efforts to ensure the continuation of the educational process.
