The oath-taking ceremony for student council members (2011-2012) at Pakistan International School Jeddah (English Section) took place in the school auditorium on Saturday. PISJ-ES Principal Sehar Kamran welcomed distinguished guests including Consul Qamar Siddique Raja. Kamran explained to the audience the aims and objectives of the student council. “It is the process of involving students in meaningful ways both in and beyond the classroom, with an objective to provide them with the podium where they can exercise and exhibit their abilities. They can demonstrate their talents, skills and interests in an organized manner,” she said. Kamran congratulated all elected council members and class prefects. The presidents and vice presidents of the student council shared their thoughts with fellow students.
