Tatweer Education Holding Company, tasked with the implementation of the King Abdullah Public Education Development Project, intends to prepare 1,000 schools in different districts to provide evening classes to students and their families. “These evening classes, which will be held for five hours daily, will also accommodate people who are living in the surrounding areas of the schools and who want to learn,” said Walid bin Jamal Towfeek, director of public relations and information at Tatweer. He said these evening classes would provide students more chances to develop their abilities and help remove the barriers that hinder their learning capabilities. The evening classes will also help students nurture their talents and give them an opportunity to exhibit their creativity. Tatweer recently organized a program for the children of Insan Charitable Society for the care of orphans at the district club of Aswad bin Wahab School in Riyadh. Towfeek said his organization was planning for more activities to serve the society. “Tatweer is very eager to make children participate in sports, arts and cultural activities that enable them to mingle with society,” he said. Tatweer plans to organize more activities in social and charitable areas with the support of district clubs that are active in many parts of the Kingdom. “We also intend to provide more chances to families in order to enable them to help their children in their studies and create a suitable academic atmosphere inside their houses,” Al-Towfeek said.
