Students will sit for the final examination of the Tawjihi winter session today, Ministry of Education Spokesperson Ayman Barakat said on Sunday. Barakat added that the ministry has no plans to postpone the exam day despite the inclement weather, and will take the appropriate decision if any weather-related emergencies occur. A total of 157,648 students are sitting for the winter session exams, including 81,909 boys and 75,739 girls. Tawjihi, or General Secondary Education Certificate, is part of the education system in Jordan that marks the completion of 12 years in school, after which students can join universities.
