In collaboration with the Russian Islamic University, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the Bashkir State University in Ufa, the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), an ISESCO Subsidiary Organ, will hold a scientific conference on “The High Islamic Educational Values in the 21st Century”, on 22-23 September 2011, at the Russian Islamic University, in Ufa, the Russian Federation. The conference will bring together a host of intellectuals and specialized experts from the Russian Federation and Central Asian republics. It will discuss such important axes as the Islamic philosophical, intellectual and educational values, the Islamic values for the family and the child, the role of ISESCO in coordinating cooperation among Islamic, educational and scientific centers, the issues pertaining to the organization of religious education in Russia, and the dialogue among religions in Russia. It is worth mentioning that a roundtable will be organized on the sidelines of the conference on “The Youth and Religion in the 21st Century”. The FUIW will be represented in this Conference by Dr Mustapha Ahmed Ali, Director of the Federation’s General Secretariat.
