Turkish Minister of National Education Nabi Avci received Abd al-Razaq al-Ashwal, Yemeni Education Minister on Wednesday. Avci made statements to press members before the meeting which took place at Turkish minister's office, informing about the number of Yemeni students studying in Turkey. 159 Yemeni students are studying at Turkish universities, said the Turkish minister. Upon a reporter's question about the course of national dialog conference at transition period in Yemen, al-Ashwal replied the last chapter was achieved at national agreement issue. Noting all political parties know their responsibilities and strive for a peaceful and stable life in Yemen, the Yemeni minister expressed that Yemen praised the attitude of Turkey in transition process. Turkey attributes great importance to democratic process, unity and development of Yemen, stated the Turkish minister, meanwhile. He also added a cooperation over education between the two countries was possible.
