Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training signed on Monday with the Lebanese embassy in Sana’a the executive program of the bilateral cooperation agreement signed between the two countries for the coming two years. The executive program stipulated that Lebanon provides 80 study scholarships annually for Yemeni students, trainees and teachers ,and the first batch will be accepted in the academic year 2013 -2014. Following the signing of the agreement, Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Dr. Abdul Hafez Numan highly valued the Lebanese government efforts in providing these scholarships for Yemen, affirming the needs of institutes in Yemen for qualified cadre to help in developing the educational process and improving their outputs that meet the labor market needs. Numan noted to the importance of taking advantage of the Lebanese expertise, especially in the field of the curricula preparation and handicrafts and possibility of transferring them to the Yemeni institutes.
