At least six university students were killed and 23 others injured on Saturday as a passenger bus turned over due to heavy rain in central Turkey, private Dogan news agency reported.
Carrying students from Suleyman Demirel University for a visit to central province of Eskisehir, the passenger bus fell down a 15- meter cliff near Karamik village of Cay town in Afyonkarahisar province, according to the report.
Ambulances and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene and an investigation into this accident was underway.
In last month, a passenger bus overturned to a stream in the resort province of Antalya in southwestern Turkey, killing 13 and injuring 15 others.
