Manama - BNA

A group of students who study French in Bahrain's public schools will travel to France to attend courses at universities and institutes. The Ministry of Education coordinated the programme with the French Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi received the students and wished them success in their tour to serve as Bahrain's model ambassadors in French universities and higher education institutions. Intermediate Education Director in charge of French-language teaching Nujood Al-Dosary said that the students had been selected through interviews and school performance, stressing the ministry's resolve to continue promoting French language in Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Acting Undersecretary for Educational and Curricula Affairs Latifa Al-Bunootha.
