Korean Scientist's New Project
Seoul - Yonhap

A Seoul appellate court, in a retrial, ruled Friday that the top national university's 2006 dismissal of disgraced stem cell scientist Hwang Woo-suk was legal.
Hwang, a former veterinary professor at Seoul National University (SNU), was dismissed from his school for falsifying research that purported to show he had created the world's first cloned human embryos. He soon filed a suit against the school chief, demanding his dismissal from the school be rescinded.
