A group of Indian School Muscat students will visit NASA’s launch headquarters in the United States, the school announced.

As part of Indian School Muscat’s annual extended learning programme, 44 students, accompanied by a team of 4 teachers, are all set to leave on an “Astrotour” to the USA on the 9th of June, to explore the U.S. Space program.

The tour includes the U.S. Space and Rocket Centre in Alabama, as well as the Kennedy Space Centre, NASA’s launch headquarters. The tour will also include recreational and educational visits to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Ripley's Believe it or not, the CNN studio, and the World of Coco Cola.

The teachers escorting the students are: Mr. Muraleedharan Thampy, Mrs. Manju Chandralekha, Mrs. Saumia Harikrishna, and Felcy Fernandes. The School Management Committee is organising and supporting the trip under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajeev Kumar Chauhan and Vice Principal Eskalin Gansalves.
