Indian School Salalah students created a new record for the school when 56 students secured perfect ten in the (Class X) examinations conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
The school has been very consistent in achieving excellent results every year. The highlight of this year’s result has been 56 students securing perfect ten score which is the highest in the school record and they created a new bench mark. The school feels proud of the achievements of their students.
Out of the 228 students who appeared for the exams from Indian School Salalah, 56 students secured the cumulative grade point average of 10 by securing (A1) in five subjects. The brilliance in the results continue while 75 students secured grade point average of 9 to 9.8, 57 students secured grade point average of 8 to 8.8.

Following are the details of number of students who got A1 grade in each subject: English 100, Hindi 26, Arabic 23, Malayalam 82 , French 10, Maths 71, Science 86 and Social Science 85.
The President of SMC, Dr. Debashish Bhattacharya expressed his gratitude to C. M. Najeeb, Vice-Chairman, BOD and Director in charge-Indian School Salalah, for his initiative of Gurukul classes for the students which has reaped rich and brilliant results.
The president also thanked the satisfactory response from the parents as well as the students in receiving these Gurukul classes that have led to excellent results. The President of the school management Dr. Debashish Bhattacharya, other members of the SMC and Principal, T. R. Brown expressed their heartfelt congratulations and wishes to the successful students who have come out with flying colours and the staff for their effort.
