 Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued directives on Wednesday on closing any school posing threat to its pupils and moving the pupils to the nearest school until the contractors companies finish their work in the damaged schools.
During a meeting to follow up the renovation of schools, Mahlab called on education officials to work on protecting the pupils.
Mahlab's call for protecting the pupils came after a series of incidents in some schools which left a number of students wounded.
