The Ministry of Education has announced that registration of new students for the academic year 2018-2019 will be open at primary schools and primary-intermediate schools from Sunday, October 8, to Thursday, October 12.
The circular sent to principals of the relevant schools said that registration will be at schools, according to the schools’ residential blocs.
The circular also indicated that age groups of students born in December, 2011, and those born in 2012, are eligible for registration.
According to the circular, the students should report personally, alongside their parents or legal guardians.
The required documents include original CPRs and copies of them, printed copies of their smart cards containing their current residence addresses, copies of the smart cards of the guardian.
They also include the students’ original birth certificates and copies of them, their passports and copies of the first pages of them, and three personal photos of each student.
The Ministry of Education also said the registration date for under-six students will be announced later, according to vacancies in schools.
