Students in Netherlands
Paris - KUNA

Chairman of Kuwait Cultural Office in Paris Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Radhwan has inspected conditions of Kuwaiti students studying at Maastricht University in the Netherlands where 26 Kuwaiti Medicine students are enrolled.
Visiting Maastricht University is part of regular visits, paid to EU states, including the Netherlands, by the Paris bureau staff, aimed at examining Kuwaiti students' well-being, Dr. Al-Radhwan stated to KUNA.
Such a visit is also part of the Office's mission of developing and diversifying scholarships to a number of European countries to benefit from their advanced educational systems, and to include their schools within the Ministry of Higher Education's scholarships plans, as well as other bodies in Kuwait, he said.
Dr. Al-Radhwan also mentioned that he has discussed with Kuwaiti students at Maastricht ways to provide them with appropriate studying needs, as well as ways to resolve all difficulties they might encounter with the Dutch university's officials, urging them to exert their efforts towards success and graduation in accordance with their scholarships' timeframe.
He also said that he has held a meeting with Maastricht's officials in order to get acquainted with details on the studying status of Kuwaiti students, adding that he has discussed with them possibilities of sending other Kuwaitis to the Dutch university to study other majors in English, including economy and business management, in addition to graduate studies in fields of medical, economic, and administrative sciences
