Based on the approval of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) chaired by Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and in line with his directives about reinforcing cooperation with prestigious institutes and organisations to support education and training programme, the RAP today signed four memoranda of understanding (MoU) with the National Oil and Gas Authority, National Institute of Human Rights, Institute of Public Administration and Bahrain Training Institute.
Chief of Public Security Maj-Gen Tariq Al Hassan, General Secretary of the National Oil and Gas Authority, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan, President of National Institute for Human Rights, Dr Abdulaziz Abul, General Director of the Institute of Public Administration, Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams and General Director of Bahrain Training Institute, Dr. Fawzi Al-Jowder signed the agreements.
The Public Security Chief highlighted the Interior Minister's directives aimed at reinforcing RAP academic standard and providing advanced expertise to ensure the progress and development of the provided educational and training programmes.
He said the MoUs target developing academic cooperation between prestigious organisations to hold joint projects on academic research and training.
