Venezuela to receive 1000 Palestinian students

Venezuela announced its intention to receive a thousand Palestinian children for study and education under scholarships granted by President Nicolas Maduro.
The Venezuelan president's decision came to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians after the destruction of their schools in the recent aggression on Gaza Strip.
Maduro confirmed that talks with the Palestinian authorities are currently underway to reach an agreement in order to translate the decision into concrete action in the near future.
Venezuela is one of Latin American countries most in support of the Palestinian cause. Its leaders have been providing over years financial and logistical support for the Palestinians.
