The process is being undertaken by the Higher Education Department to register details of all universities and higher education institutions under various departments on a single portal. Web portal aishe.gov.in has been prepared for year 2011-12 and 2012-13 by Union human resources ministry for All-India Survey on Higher Education. Principal Secretary Higher Education JN Kansotiya undertook department-wise review of updation of the portal at a meeting at Mantralaya here today. Gross Enrolment data of every institution recognised to impart education after class XII or affiliated to a university will be posted on this portal. Administrative departments are ensuring cent percent data entry. Principal Secretary Kansotiya directed to enter entire details of higher education institutions and universities on the portal at the earliest, specially universities and educational institutions under the jurisdiction of Technical Education, Medical Education and Agriculture departments. The meeting was informed that requisite cooperation is being extended to Government of India for higher education survey. For this, State Units have been constituted in states which are helping universities in this work. The meeting was informed that work is under progress to register details of universities under the jurisdiction of Higher Education, Technical Education, Medical Education, Culture, Agriculture and Public Relations departments. Nursing Colleges under Nursing Council and B Ed. and diploma courses institutions under School Education Department will also be registered on this portal.
